Stanley B&D Sueing Sears

Isn't suing Sears sort of like suing a skid-row bum?

I've got to side with Sears on this one. Apparently, Stanley agreed to let them develop and market Craftsman tools. Seems to me that's what they're doing. Guess Stanley is afraid the marketing will be too effective.

By the time the courts get this hammered out Sears will be in bankruptcy again. Its pointless IMO

So if I break an old bought at sears store tool, where do I take it for replacement Sears or Lowes? Are Sears new Ultimate tools made in the USA or China?

I was thinking the same thing. I get it that they may have gambled about Sears' longevity, but all the same...

To let sears still sell Craftsman? Sure. Would really have to be the case. SBD surely sells their tools in more stores than Lowe's, and Lowe's didn't buy the Craftsman name.

To let Sears make Craftsman labeled tools via another manufacturer? Lousy contract. They could have had a winner if they rebranded Stanley Proto tools made in USA as this Craftsman Ultimate line, to sell at Sears.
