Stanley B&D Sueing Sears

I've got to side with Sears on this one. Apparently, Stanley agreed to let them develop and market Craftsman tools. Seems to me that's what they're doing. Guess Stanley is afraid the marketing will be too effective.

I was thinking the same thing. I get it that they may have gambled about Sears' longevity, but all the same...

To let sears still sell Craftsman? Sure. Would really have to be the case. SBD surely sells their tools in more stores than Lowe's, and Lowe's didn't buy the Craftsman name.

To let Sears make Craftsman labeled tools via another manufacturer? Lousy contract. They could have had a winner if they rebranded Stanley Proto tools made in USA as this Craftsman Ultimate line, to sell at Sears.
