This is the new FA-4 spec not CK-4. Now available @ Walmart.
This will be going into my DD15 on my next PM cycle in the fall.

Thank you. It's interesting how when the oil specs. allow it, blenders often use a hefty dose of ZDDP. It is a multifunctional additive.

You are correct, it's pretty hard to come by. But with Walmart now stocking it, it's just a matter of time until the floodgates open.
Both Delo & Delvac have released FA-4 oils but I have not found a reasonably priced source for them.
FYI, there's a Rotella T6 5W-30 FA-4 in the works which has not been released yet.

I find this VOA very interesting for how thin this oil is!

I know newer diesel oils are going thinner, but at 9.52cst; this 10W-30 is just about a 20-weight.

It's essentially a thick 10W-20, which will make it a great, low-VII oil for engines that can use 20 or 30-weights.
