Cheapest 505 01 spec 5W40?

I can get Liqui Moly TOP TEC 4100 for $35/5L or their Diesel High Tec for $36.50. Motul 8100 XClean or their VW/Audi specific formula for for $35 and $36. Castrol for $36. Anything cheaper out there I might find at Walmart or other discount stores?

Valvoline MST 5w40 meets VW 505.01 and is frequently on sale at Napa for $4.99 a quart (not at the moment however). Walmart also has it for 7 bucks a quart every day but that is no cheaper than what you are already looking at.

It has the VW 505.01 rating you are looking for.

While not a discount store you can walk in, it is easy enough to have it shipped to your front door!
