The tubing provided by Blackstone Labs would not go completely down the oil dip stick on my Cummins 6.7L. When measured against the dip stick the tubing needed to go about 3 inches further to reach the oil but no matter how hard I pushed the tubing it would not go down, something was blocking it. I suspect the diameter of the tubing may be too large so I called Blackstone and they are sending a smaller diameter tube.
Anyone have this type issue?

Worst case scenario, you could drain the oil into a clean pan or container, then take your sample and pour the rest back into the engine.

A Fumoto valve lets you tap off any amount you need neatly and positively.
