The big panel one is located on the frame rail and the other one is located in the engine bay. The big one is the re design to try and mitigate water issues, it holds more than the older one and supposedly works better. Filter fd4625

Is this your first fuel filter change on this truck and what was the mileage interval? Thanks for that link, that's a great deal for both filters.

First change at 29k. There was a little grit in the housing and I will probably go to 20 or 25k on the next change.

The frame filter is apparently a panel version of this tech by sogefi.
