Family Dollar has a half gallon of SMB coolant for $6, which is overpriced

It shouldn't be more than $5 for a half gallon of SMB.

And the local Dollar Trees no longer seem to carry that cute lil $1 bottle of coolant that was like a pint or something. That size is perfect for top-offs

Family Dollar is infamous for posing as a discount Dollar Store, but not being one, and having bad deals. So no surprise there. I drive by the local one, never stop there.

My wife is the same as you. She goes to Dollar General. A real dollar store. I like Family Dollar. They have some cool stuff in there that used to be easy to buy but since the big box stores took, it's hard to find certain stupid little things that will ultimately wind up in the junk drawer in the kitchen.

As much as family dollar sucks I like the packaging. Too many people have half-jugs of coolant because they just needed a little top off, and don't know what to do with it as "HAZMAT".
