Yota Carbon or Regular?

Stay away from the Denso ‘First Time Fit' for the cabin air filter.
They dont seem to fit quite right. I found out the hard way...

In the camry I have used Wix, Fram (with carbon and baking soda)
Premium Guard, Purolator.. Those all seem to fit fine.
The wix seemed to be the most fibrous, last time I saw one.

Fresh out of the box, it has its own annoying odor until it dissipates. And you notice the difference for not having carbon layer on it. So, it's always carbon for me. And it plugs up rather easily and you'll notice the reduction in air flow

I yanked out the CAF from my parent's 2011 Matrix, which has never been changed and got a Fram CAF.

Probably will order them from Amazon, as they are pricey at the stores.

Wix/Napa Gold carbon filter is very good and a very good price when purchased at fleet prices. Same filter for Avalon and Corolla works in my Subaru so I will be using it there also.

It's ok... Still good for brands. I ended up getting a few Denso (not the right fit ones) to try for the Caravan.
