coolants for 1965 imperial

Conventional green is an option, however if you don't want to change coolant every 2/3 years you could use Zerex G-05 or G-40 , both are Silicate containing OAT coolants that will not cause any problems in older cooling systems.
 
i mentioned g05 on the imperial mailing list and got tech sheets posted saying not to use it
 
when i say this ill get yelled at. but on my 65 300 L. i used straight 100% anti- freeze. the only trouble i have with that here in Kansas is if it freezes in the winter. but after some research i found it doesnt freeze hard, only slushy. and -36 F is the frezzing point. and i have lived in Kansas for 70 years. i have never seen -36 F what iam looking for is to stop rust. Mopars DO tend to rust
