Well to be honest it would perhaps be worth it if you really thought there was a good chance of getting a Pennzoil rebate. Many on here have found out it isn't.

Probably easier for the op to Craig’s, generally selling motor oil is quite a hard thing to do, I had trouble finding someone local to take a free jug of Mobil 1 10w50 let alone sell it

People really seem to hate others making money, or not just giving things away these days. I don’t understand it.

The purpose of this site is not to make you money, or allow you to advertise your scam to obtain free oil on somebody else's dollar.

I remember the time you gave me a time out for doing something against the rules...

So you are "selling off 60 quarts to cover your stock." You and your friends are getting free oil, which was your plan from the start. But you "didn't go out to purchase oil and make a small profit" ???
There is no difference. You are trying to profit / benefit / get ahead. There is nothing wrong with that. I applaud your creative, entrepreneurial spirit. Almost everyone wants to save a few bucks. And this site has a "for sale" section, so that's fine too (IMO). But please don't try to play it off like profit was not your plan.

I wonder what Pennzoil would say about your status as a non-authorized reseller... 15 gallons is a quantity worth their consideration.

You need to Craigslist your oil and pull your post from here if you ever expect to sell it now that the busy bodies have chimed in and tainted your for sale thread.

For whatever reason, this board allows price flaming that would get most people banned on other forums and board.
