I use Gumout religiously, but when I was looking on the shelf I saw Dura Lube. Wasn't that the same stuff
that was called Snake Oil a while ago?

I think that the Dura Lube product(snake oil) that you're referring to is/was the oil additive.
If you're now speaking of the Dura Lube fuel system additive, this may in fact be OK if it has PEA(polyether amine)...Did I say that right?

I picked up some because I needed a $2 order to get the $35 free shipping
Looks just like Lucas Upper Cylinder and Injector cleaner. Yes that name brought about the same thoughts smile

Those little 5 ounce plus bottles treat 25 gallons of gas or diesel. I have not tried it yet
