Amsoil OE 5w-20, 7400 miles, 2015 Toyota 4Runner 4.0

First check for this vehicle, looks good so far. This run had:

1400 miles towing, approximately 5000 pounds. 20%
1200 mile road trip including some light off road. 17%
1800 miles mostly highway commute. 26%
2600 miles short trips. 37%

Planning 11-12k for the current run.
 
What's with the high Al in some of these Toyota 4.0 reports?
 
Note: Blackstone said 7400 miles, it should have been 7000.

Good catch - this is the old formulation, with high calcium. Working my way through the old to get to the new and will post that when I get it in a year or so...

Are you referring to a different report? Because 4ppm at 7000 miles isn't high IMO, especially compared to universal averages at only about 2/3 the mileage.

It doesn't get much better than that. Very low numbers despite that you gave the engine a workout towing.

Correct, old formula. I do not know if was tested for Dexos or not.
