Hello again BITOG,

Here is my followup UOA for the Caddy ATS. I guess I'll remove the intake tubing and see if I missed something the first time. I replaced the air filter prior to my last oil change so I'm surprised to see silicon remain high.

I will be asking the dealer what they use because it seems to match the Castrol Edge's capabilities.

There is usually a spike in ingested particulates when a filter is replaced, and then efficiency begins to increase once a fine layer of dust has been trapped by the filter.

Looks like Casteol has largely done away with titanium as an additive.

Doing a bit of digging I found that there is a need for a specific oil filter with a strong spring otherwise the oil bypasses. It looks like Webfors was aware of the issue on his 2.0t. I"m going get the AC Delo PF64 or the Napa Gold FIL 100290 if I can confirm it's acceptable. My plan is to switch out the filter when I have it up in the air again and then another UOA at the next change with the proper filter.
