Mine turned RED too, I had zero lead on an UOA of Mobil 1 extended on a new car. Then ran Amsoil SS and did a UOA with 2,000 and had 70 lead, 25 of copper ( they ran the test twice) dumped it and Polaris wanted me to run another exact run to 2,000 but my new fill of Amsoil SS turned red so I dumped it at 600 miles because I did not want to risk it when I was at 0 lead before using Amsoil. Note: I ran Amsoil many times in other cars, so I am Pro Amsoil, less now though. I went with Mobil 1 ESP and at 1,000 mile UOA I pulled a 4 ppm lead. It must not be related but I just wanted it out and back to Mobil 1 that had a 0 lead the test before ( ran twice also) and low copper and aluminum ppm then the Amsoil. Just a fluke , but with a new car I am couldn't risk it.
