Many coupons for free oil filters poured out of the leaf. However, one particular one, forged from ancient trees from the outskirts of an Autozone parking lot, glowed like no other. As it seemingly took an eternity to fall to the ground, I reached for it. The snow decorated and complimented the glowing, which attracted my enemies.

As I gazed across the land, I attempted to grasp the glowing item. However, an arch rival also reached for it. Before I could make contact, he unsheathed his 99 cent store pliers to pluck it out of the air.

After reaching for my oil wrench, I swiped - not at the glowing treasure but at his pliers. Without making a sound, his pliers split in two, and one half started tumbling through the frosty air to the ground. His look of happiness quickly turned to agony.

Little did he know about my oil wrench.

Throughout the battle with the challenger, the glowing treasure was approaching the ground ever so slowly. The treasure was mine, all mine.

Sadly mistaken.

In that 538 article, there's is chart of how a receiver affected quarterbacks with and without. Moss' circle is by far the best, average distance in yards per attempt by avg distance in touchdown percentage.

Because of his bouncing around from team to team, there are several more quarterbacks so we can clearly see if there is a Randy Moss effect. Yes there is. And the chart shows it as much better than even Jerry Rice. The with and without numbers are ridiculous for him, better than anyone else.

they are the "older" 15,000 mile ones, with the gold band on the box... versus the newer 20,000 mile rated ones.

Can you post the date codes, please?

I didn't keep the boxes. They're not trophies haha.

I'm just thankful to Fram for creating quality products. And letting me try them out.

The phone symbols are much smaller than the ones here on BITOG.

As for oil and filter question. I dont see that any oil filter could really change the color of the oil, for the better, as the OP is suggesting if i understand the post.

I saw his 30 for 30 special. He was made out to be a monster.

"We had a very simple package for him. IF they put one on him, we threw him the ball."

Normally I would say any filter capable of going 15,000 miles probably is not very efficient filtering because that has been the traditional approach to extended life filters -- the can go a long time because they don't trap as much junk. But the stuff these companies are putting out nowadays with dual-layer media and synthetic fibers and metal backings, I have to wonder.

But I would never go 30k on a single filter unless it's verified 95% highway cruising and oil sample analysis completed on previous runs.

So give us a clue as to your previous screen name(s).

Come on, make it easier for us.

Rated by ISO 4845-12 testing. If an oil filter is rated at 99% @ 20 microns that's the average efficiency from new to nearly 100% loaded per the way ISO 4548-12 calculates the efficiency. And the theory that oil filters always get more efficient with time is not always true.

They're fine to go 15k miles. I would just pair it with oil that can go that long instead of leaving it in there and changing the oil only at intervals.
