Installed an aFe Pro Dry S, 21-91090:

Those AFE Pro Dry's are supposed to be pretty good at filtering. I don't remember is Spicer's filtration test used the dry stuff. I thought he only tested oiled and paper filters. Heck, even the "paper" stuff isn't actually paper anymore and they all flow just fine.

Your set up looks good.

I run the XX1010 Injen Nano filter with a drycharger. During summer in Western Kansas I use pantyhose as a prefilter. I like all the dryflow stuff from Injen ,Afe, and AEM. Just get a prefilter/drycharger and your set.

And gauze is...?

Cotton fiber weaved in a square pattern with large holes.

Green filters are not gauze based filters. It's more akin to using a polo shirt for filtration. It doesn't have the giant holes a k&n type filter has

Gauze is a fabric. When you look at K&N media and Green media, they look nearly identical.

Have you used Green filters before? Are they what you'd choose?

I have used Green Filters before. They do not have the same pinholes as a K&N filter. Some WRC teams used them. WRC teams can't get points if they can't finish the entire race.

I currently use (K&N) AEM Dryflow Brute Force.
