06 Taurus. Valvoline Synpower 5w20. Not a big fan of 5w20 but had a jug left from a sale at Wally World. Fram FPS filter from Rock Auto. What the heck, Ford has been spec'ing 5w20 for 17 years now.

Last filter was a Fram Tough Guard 3600 that was reused once. Total of 10,000 miles on the filter and 5,000 miles on the oil.

2001 Chevy 2500 LB7 Duramax
Supertech 15W40, Fram PH9100

2003 Mazda Protege
Supertech 10W30, FULL brand filter
drain plug 29 ft lbs

Still not finished with this car, I had the oil drained, drained plug back in and was trying to take off the Proselect oil filter when a black widow decided to crawl down near my leg. Lets just say I shot out of there faster than a light switch, I hate spiders. Its a car that sits up alot, I can see why there was a black widow. Put new oil in the engine, backed it off the ramps, I'll spray poison real good next weekend and then I'll put it back on the ramps and change the filter.
