62TE Chrysler 6 Speed Transmission Filter

I just ordered a 62TE Mopar transmission filter to do the first change in a family members Caravan and I noticed that the filter media is now a hardened crystallized type foam instead of the more felt type in the Mopar filter I used at the last change for my dad's Caravan. I guess they made a change in the media and thought I would post it here for other 62TE owners.

It has to be one of the easiest transmissions to do the change on although you do need a dip-stick, measuring chart and some way to read the transmission fluid temperature to refill. But in terms of taking the pan off and changing the filter it's dead simple.

If there is enough interest I could do it but there is YouTube videos on the subject already.
