Easy walking

on cold snowy days,

This walking exercise is an easy one for some and not so easy for others, there are many like this one that goes on for 5 miles...try it sometime, note: some of us are not spring chickens so take it easy....................

Depends the one in the chair may have their diet and calories on point. Person walking may think they are killing it by walking 30 min getting home pounding down some high carb calorie power bar cause they just killed it calories way in positive and gaining weight but hey their walking.

What benefit to ones cardiovascular system is there sitting in a chair?

what benefits are their walking but the rest of the day you pound down calories cause you think them 10k steps are the gold standard and a real warrior because your wrist band told ya you are. First and foremost diet diet diet and should be first thing asked "What are you eating". Lots and lots of overweight out of shape people I see year after year walk daily or get the made up gold standard 10k steps and year after year they pack on weight because they simply Do Not change the poor eating habits.
 
Keeping the body joints moving in a daily, "brisk-pace" walk is beneficial to both our joints and our heart.

yes walking is good and you will burn more calories for a day or 2 when not walking...your system stays in a burn mode..Thankyou for your post, there many who take walking seriously, it is mind calming.

you think walking keeps you in a burn ya right it's walking 20min HIIT possibly will but walking that's laughable.

What a little man you are. No one said anything about diet in this thread except you. Then you attempt to degrade someone who points out the benefits of walking. Continue on.
 
All input is acceptable, we all have opinions, remember this is off topic stuff, some like exercise, some don't, some eat well and some dont...take the parts you like and apply them to your way of life.... let us all have a Happy Holiday,,, now back to our original show..............
