ON, Canada eh?
No MAF in the Caravan just a MAP, should I use K&N oil to lightly coat the paper filter?

I can't remember what I used in the past. I think it was something generic.

You should know better.

I think red #2 diesel fuel would be the absolute heaviest you could get away with.

Tacky K&N oil would just plug all the pores in the paper

And then bake at 350 for 10 minutes to help the oil seep deep into the cellulose pores.

C'mon, are you serious about oiling a paper filter? Engine apnea.....lol

Well, if you can't leave stuff alone, why not add a "Y" to the intake, to add another filter somehow and now you'll have twice the filtering capacity and better airflow, etc....

Ha-ha! Oil-bath air cleaners sometimes recommended using the same stuff used in the crankcase. Why not follow suit? Better emphasize the "lightly" qualifier, though.

Misting from a distance instead of spraying like penetrating fluid for example.
