You clearly do not even understand how an oil filter works. The plastisol glue is what seals the ends of the filter media. You could completely remove the center tube from this filter and it still would not leak unfiltered oil into the engine. I would be happy to explain to you different construction methods and how an oil filter works if you like. You instead seem to be intent on just bashing the product without any understand of its functionality. Enjoy your day
I understand fine actually, thanks.
Will fram be correcting the off center endcap and glue issues or do they just send you around to deny and minimize issues.
Not sure what you are talking about glue issues? And, the center tube off center by a tiny fraction has zero effect on the filters ability to function properly. The tube is there to support the filter media from collapse under oil pressure. The plastisol glue on the end cap is what seals the media, not the center tube. And if you know me (clearly you do not) you know I do not lie for any of the companies I have provided tech support for now or in the past including Airtex, ASC, Champion Labs, Fram, Prestone, Autolite, Wells Vehicle Electronics, Bendix Brakes. I carry customer concerns right back into engineering and marketing meetings, always taking the customer side. The only thing I own in the world is my reputation and it's not for sale brother.
