LSA Weight Limit Increase

News reports today say the FAA will release a notice of rulemaking in January ahead of a possible weight increase to 3600 pounds for LSA's.

Yep. Been an EAA'er for a long time now. We (and others) have been pushing for this for some time. If it goes through, it'll be a real shot in the arm for GA. Problem is LSA prices are still out of reach for a big majority. This may help, but if inacted, will probably cause the prices of a lot of "legacy" aircraft to jump up. Still might be a good time to roll the dice and snag a hanger queen and start working on it.
