It's going to be my first time doing winter prep details on my cars

My garage is currently out-of-commission so I'll be doing everything outside. When do you guys usually do your detail? Now? Nov?

I get leaves stuck to my cars, which, when wet, leave outlines of tannic acid on the paint.

Now is a good time to get under and do that fluid film.

I just went over our car. Washed and sealed. The trim also got sealed as well as the leather interior. Oil changed too. I like to take care of this stuff before the rainy season starts which doesn't end until May or so.

That's when I do it, on a decent weather day. Fall time just before hunting season.

As late as possible in Nov. In the northeast we typically get a stretch of mild weather at some point in November, that's the time, just watch the forecast.

I'm doing it now. One vehicle per weekend. I do it in a garage however.

3 vehicles will see winter, 2 will be stored. I may have to do 1 or 2 for family members too.
