Thanks for posting. Looks like a solid oil. Not priced very competitively from what I have seen though. I will stick with PPPP 0w20 in the Accord and Castrol Edge 0w40 in the Jetta.

Note that they tested conventional 5W-20, while the 0W-20 was synthetic. That should help explain the difference in volatility, too.

Exactly.
Sure, a blender can formulate a conventional oil to have a higher base number that what they currently have however, the starting base number is only one factor in contributing to a longer drain interval for a synthetic. I have noticed that synthetics usually start out with higher base numbers compared to a conventional oil, which start out closer to neutral.
