PRO TEC PTL 51348/130 CUT OPEN

This filter and napa conventional 5w30 was off a part time co worker of mine. He uses his 2010 Dodge caravan to help with meals on wheels and as his work van. 160k on van. I'd say it looks ok. Definitely Purolator but unknown when this is made.

Put some Formula Shell 5w30 and a WIX filter in and on

Decently built budget filter there. Was the Formula Shell 5W30 from Home Depots sale recently? I stopped over to get 5W30 when it was on sale for $9.88 but they had none in stock. All sorts of 10W30 Formula Shell though.

Yeah, my Home Depot had 4 5w30 ones so snagged em' all and only 2 10w30 ones left. Guess i got lucky

Stude - doesn't look like a typical Purolator date code. It looks like it could be 010318, which could simply be Jan 3, 2018.

Does the can say where it's made?

Dont mean to bring up an old post but wix is made in gastonia north Carolina and these pro-tec using a part number. I can see the adbv is made by parker. Dosnt look black but grayish to me. My date code is 021519

My filter was made later than 53stud. Its diffiently a wix. It's made a little different also.
