I would pay good money for that watch...provided that 4:30 really was that dot between 4 and 5, and the dot between 5 and 9 really was 7:00.

Employers would give such a watch to dumb employees. When they left the job for the day at 5 pm, they would actually be leaving at 7 pm, giving the employer two free hours of overtime.
