Wow, first UOA for me in years … and not a terribly good one. This is my current daily driver ... a 2015 Mazda 3 with the 2.0 4 cyl engine and a 6 speed transmission (of course). Car is very gently driven … but sees frequent short trips as my commute is about 4 miles ... 100% city traffic. Oil was in use from summer of 2017 until spring of 2018. Car had only 17,800 miles on it at the time of the change.

Obviously, I have some fuel dilution … anyone else think the sodium is road salt from a leaky intake?

Mine had a copper streak similar to yours around this mileage. It later washed out and now reads 0. Who knows where it's coming from.

Definitely plenty of fuel in there. Kinda hard to do anything about it if you're mostly short tripping in the city.

You COULD try using Premium for an interval to see if it helps. My UOA show zero fuel using Premium in my 2014 Mazda 3 with 2.0L and wifey does a lot of city idling in traffic but we both beat on it HARD when given the chance so that gets things nice and HOT and allows the fuel to evaporate.

Not with only 7PPM of silicon, but Potassium is nil, so you probably do not have a coolant leak because typically both have to be present.

Good eye ... I left out the phhosphorus of 673.

The previous fill was Pennzoil platinum 0W20. Before that? Probably the same ... but I lost some records because of a hard drive failure in 2017.

Artem, I drive this car for fuel economy ... am averaging about 35mpg in almost exclusively city driving. The engine would probably benefit from an "Italian tune-up" once in a while.

I have used a variety of filters ... Wix, Hastings and Bosch. Just based on weight, size and feel, the Bosch (3300) seems the best quality. All are tiny ... with the Bosch being the least tiny of the group ... and it was about equal to the Wix for visual build quality (in my hand as well as cut-away pics online).

Current fill is Pennzoil High Mileage 5W20 I had left over from my previous vehicle (2006 Honda Civic). I will run that from April until about November then I'll switch back to Pennzoil Platinum 0W20 for the winter.

4 miles of gentle driving probably doesn’t get the oil past 150F, plus GDI and rich fuel trim is loading your oil. My 2.5 SkyActiv was a slow warmer.

I would think you would see a rising oil level on the dipstick with this driving.

Hello everyone. Another oil change on the same car 15 months later:

Pennzoil Platinum 0W20, Bosch 3300 filter.

Miles on oil: 5,471
Miles on car: 27,141

Some notes:
1) I drive this car very gently to maximize fuel economy (hyper-miling). I get off on the fact I can get just over 60mpg at a steady 63mph on the flat and level as long as it's hot out. This driving focus certainly cuts down on speeding tickets!
2) Just before the oil change, I took a 200 mile, 1-day trip. I think this is why there is almost no fuel present compared to my last sample. That previous sample was also taken after the winter and this sample was taken at the end of the summer (although it included a full season of winter driving.
