Wow, first UOA for me in years … and not a terribly good one. This is my current daily driver ... a 2015 Mazda 3 with the 2.0 4 cyl engine and a 6 speed transmission (of course). Car is very gently driven … but sees frequent short trips as my commute is about 4 miles ... 100% city traffic. Oil was in use from summer of 2017 until spring of 2018. Car had only 17,800 miles on it at the time of the change.
Obviously, I have some fuel dilution … anyone else think the sodium is road salt from a leaky intake?
