2015 Tahoe - Original OEM

Out of a 2015 Tahoe at 65k miles. All three years and miles in NYC and Northeast

Who thinks this could be the original factory installed air filter? The paper is extremely brittle. The damage was from me just pulling the folds open to view.

Yup. Looks like it got wet at sometime.

Used it too much when it was new …

Yes it probably is original, although it should say AC Delco somewhere on it. Either way, your engine thanks you for replacing it. That old filter looks like a brittle, dried up, 3 year old, saltine cracker and it has mouse food written all over it.

Did you buy the car new? I am wondering if the filter had been removed once and poorly handled.
