I'll be changing the glow plugs and relay in the truck in my sig in the coming week, of course, only using Motorcraft plugs and relay. My question is, does anyone know the torque spec for the glow plugs? I've found answers of 124 in lbs, and also of 14 ft lbs, which equates to 168 inch lbs. Correct me if I'm wrong but the valve covers should be 97 in lbs.

Glow plugs, 19 NM or 168.16 in lbs.....Or 14.01 ft lbs.
Valve Cover, 11 NM or 97.35 in lbs.....Or 8.11 ft lbs.

Issue is....The T444E is Metric & things get converted incorrectly.

On a side note.....Did you "Buzz-test" the Injectors? I recommend doing that before pulling the valve covers! You could have a weak one or two at 223K.

Valve cover is 96 in.lb

I checked a 1997 F350, 1998 E350, 1999 F350, & a 2000 F350, All VIN F 7.3L. All call for 19 Nm.

Using Alldata PRO....Not that it's Gospel or anything. I sure don't want to give incorrect information!
