I finally got around to buying/changing the spark plugs and filters in my lawn equipment. My Ryobi blower/vac has been run exclusively on Redline Allsport Two Stroke Oil since I bought it new ~3 years ago. It gets used weekly for about 8 months a year and sits nearly unused in an unheated, detached garage during the winter. This machine isn't the best designed/most convenient, but it runs fine and doesn't smoke.

With the spark plug out, I visually inspected what I could in the cylinder. I'd say the top of the piston is 1/3 covered with thin, black deposits, the remainder being clean, dull silver. The swept area of the cylinder wall appears smooth and very shiny. Just above the swept area there is a small visible area of dull silver, not polished but clean. The one port I can see is shiny and clean. From this limited vantage point, I can't see any evidence of corrosion/rust.

Just wanted to give another datapoint for Redline's two stroke oils. I have no complaints.

Matt
