Shell Advance Ultra Snow

Shell says this oil is 100% synthetic.

Does anyone know if this oil has ESTER like the Maxima Tundra R and Amsoil Interceptor?

MSDS lists "Highly refined mineral oils and additives" and a quick search reveals it uses PurePlus Technology. You're looking at GTL.

Ok, so I guess you get what you pay for. It is good stuff at ok price when It goes on sale at Canadian tire for $50 for 5 litres.

Ester based 2 stroke oil are always +$75 / 5 litres here in canada.

I've been running the regular Shell Advance in my son's 95 XLT for years now (was my sled before)
No power valves or anything of the like, just oil injected and carbed.

No issues to date and still runs like a top.

If it were a more modern sled with power valves and the like, then most likely I would be using the syn blend as well.
