Anybody riding this year? Happens to be going through my hometown, as well as my city of employment. I think I plan on doing two days this year, and looking forward to doing the whole ride with my son when he gets old enough. My dad did the whole ride with me a couple of times, and those were some great memories.

Being a long time rider I've read stories about it. Sounds like a rolling party for most people and a nice little shot of $$ for the towns it visits. For everyone else it's a PITA. RAAM seems to go through here every year and locals hate it.

A friend of mine does RAGBRAI to decompress after the school year and to visit her family/friends in Wisconsin. She rides with the Pilderwasser team.
