castrol edge ep 5w-20 ?

anybody know much about this oil? it's 20% off on amazon right now, it was in my cart before at $27. for the escape in signature. good for 15k miles? for $21 it seems ok, i was gonna put in royal purple hps but im thinking of just saving it for the vic and putting in something more mainstream in the escape

I think it’s a very good oil. On par or better than M1 EP IMO.

Great oil, I have had excellent UOA's over 10k with it.

Here is one a little under 10k. I am 50% past the mileage for the universal averages yet still having similar range wear numbers. I floor my vehicle to the redline every time it is fully warmed up as well

I think it's on par with M1 EP....but not better.
I wouldn't think that RP is a better than either M1 EP or Edge EP.

I'd certainly love to see data comparing Edge EP to M1 EP.

Looks like both oils are good.

What I observed With CASTROL EDGE on 3 Turbos after 7500 runs no oil Shear very stable . Will see new Formulation Dexos 1 gen 2 same 7500 run in Ecoboost .

5w20 or 5w30? and regular Edge or Edge Extended Performance?
