I washed the car for the first time in 6 months. The car has been living outside day and night. Daily driver.
It still seems to bead well.

That beading looks weak - most likely due to contaminants from the lack of washing. You really need to wash coated cars 1-2 times per month. You should consider an iron-x (or similar) treatment to remove the contaminants.
