Can anyone recommend a cheaper 'moly' grease in a small quantity? Planning to use it to lube rear splines on a motorcycle.

Anything similar to : https://www.tsmoly.com/anti-seize-lubricants-compounds-moly-paste-with-mossub2sub-p-84.html or https://www.rshughes.com/p/Loctite-LB-80...8/079340_51048/

Thank you for any advice and help

Does your application recommend a 3-5% moly grease or a 60-70% moly paste (linked in OP)?

I believe it says to use Honda moly paste, which has 60%.

I cannot answer your original question - a cheap alternative for high solids moly paste. Honda M 60 grease has been discontinued. There are tons of threads about the subject, many claiming that Honda (Dow) M77 is the replacement: https://www.google.com/search?client=fir...920&bih=923

There's also a number of people that chime in and say that any 3-5% moly grease works for them.

Please follow up with your decision. I'm curious.

Jet lube 550 or 550 extreme. I have started using this at work coat flange bolts on the advice of a gasket manufacturer. It does not separate. It is a moly based antiseize like you posted.

For what reason? M77 is a very tenacious moly paste, and would work great on splines, brakes, or anywhere else moly paste is used.

I have seen various threads online discussing it, that M77 has unknown content of moly and it's not mean for splines, more for brakes and lighter applications?

But no idea though?

I use the SuperTech moly lithium $3.49 on my Toyota u-joints and spiders...seems to be getting the job done.

Sorry, do you mean, keep lubricating often?

Loctite LB 8012, Part # 51048, is 65% moly and can be found for about $5 less for 8 ounces on Amazon.

Yes, I have already purchased that in an aerosol can when it was $13, way cheaper than anything out there.

Although lubing rear wheel of a motorcycle with an aerosol can would be interesting...
