Looking at the Platnium Tools Pro crimper and either their shielded connectors with internal or external ground.

This crimper seems to be made for their EZ series of connectors.

Other ideas?

The Comscope crimper is quite nice. Used one, but it belonged to the company. My 20-year-old lightly used Ideal crimper works fine too, but isn't as nice to handle.

If the connections aren't in a protected environment do yourself a favor and fill any jacks with clear silicone grease to keep the oxygen out of the connections.

Do not get into the "EZ" connectors with open ends, they are junk.

Eventually everyone quits screwing around and ends up buying one of these:

If I got the crimp tool you suggest, what connectors do you suggest to outdoor shielded CAT6?
