Been meaning to swap out some fluid for my Suzuki as preventive maintenance. Manual calls for Dex 3, can I just use some bottles of Aisin T-IV fluid that I have not used? DOn't mind buying the right kind but if it's compatible, I'd rather not waste new OEM fluid.

Yes, the T-IV will be fine.
Is it easy to change the seals in the rack or pump?
People with Aisin transmissions go out of their way to get this fluid whether it's from Mobil, Toyota, Volvo or motorcraft, so it would seem that there is something different about this fluid.
Maybe it would be fine or even better than dex3, and I agree with you about not wanting to waste it but dex3 is like $3 a quart.

Never have understood why Toyota calls for Type T-IV ATF in AT but Dex 3 for power steering.
Stick with MaxLife Dex3 fluid (that is the best Dex3 fluid and have it on both my Toyota vehicles) - get it in Walmart.
