I wont need to ask what oil to use, as Volvo so kindly lists the brand and variety they recommend. Of course I could deviate from there suggestion, but na, I'll keep it simple.

By the way, I just picked up the brand new XC60 T5 Momentum AWD yesterday. It replaces a CX5.

2018 Volvo XC60 T5 Momentum AWD. 5W30 Castrol Edge Professional with Volvo filter (?)

You look marvelous

Congrats!

The SRT has pretty simple oil requirements as well: Pennzoil 0w-40 SRT. smile

At the time that I shopped for my GLC43, I wanted to test drive an XC40, but it was not available in the US yet. I saw one a few days ago in downtown Houston--very nice car and I would not hesitate to drive one. Congratulations on the new car!

You are supposed to parse through reams of oil specs and filter efficiency numbers, then use what you know is best. Then feel warm, fuzzy, and in charge. laugh

I believe the regular Mobil 1 5W-30 is rated A5/B5.
