Most small engines are made in China these days and you can get a replacement for around a hundred bucks. How much are you spending on oil?
Exactly. Keeping the oil full on small engines is the most important thing. Brand is not really important.
I built a Predator 212cc for a friend's go-kart. It has no governor, different cam, lighter flywheel, billet rod, valves, carb, etc. It revs around 6,000 RPM, which is almost twice the stock rated RPM. His son hammers that kart, and it runs perfect on whatever cheap HDEO they can find.
