does fram give any data on how the farm ultra OIL filter is selling?
I use them cause I dont like messing with filters.
is the ultra bringing in new sales or are the tough guard people justmoving up?
seems some big retailer would know

These products are all new every year?? They are a revolution!!! Razor blades, mens shirts, TVs, wiper blades, gutter guards, hearing aids... according to the ads. But also all new last year

Agreed, and I'm not really sure why or how it would affect your purchasing decision?

Why is that important? Its a very good filter and sells wells for sure or IMO they wouldn't keep making it as is without dropping quality to lower the price point.

Go to Walmart and compare the number of Ultra filters vs the TG filters. At least for that store, it will be a good indicator. Also remember, that the majority of those buying filters will tend to go middle of the road (Tough Guard ?) vs the more expensive Ultra ("but it's only a couple dollars more" doesn't mean squat).
