Hate to move on, but it seems time.

2010 Tundra double cab, 4x4, 4.6L V8, towing package, white exterior and gray (cloth) interior, no other options (not SR5, work, limited, etc). 143,000 miles. Has bedliner, dark green shell, set of snow tires too. Bought as a CPO at 73k, prior owner was a lease and I have no idea what they did, but I used it as a commuter vehicle--no towing. Only issue I know is that one or two of the spark plug tube seals need replacing (oil on plugs when I changed), a stuck front diff drain bolt, battery is very old but works.

Front diff rebuilt at 84k and the drain plug is stuck, but oil change be changed with a vacuum pump; I changed front diff oil at 110k. Rear diff and transfer was done at 92k. All three with Mobil 1 LS 75w90 (can provide extra quarts with sale). Trans oil changed at 79k, well 9 of the 14 quarts, with Maxlife. All new brakes at 140k. Oil change at 142k with 5qt Mobil 1 0w30 and 3 qt 0W20; I did 0W20 for a while before going up to 30. IMO it is a bit quieter on 30... Have 3 OEM filters to include, but I think I'm out of crush washers. Have metal canister too, is a somewhat common mod for these (was going to do but never got to it).

New plugs, serpentine, tensioner at 120k. New cabin filter today. Spare set of wiper blades (might be due though). Stock tire size of 255/70R17. One TPMS sensor replaced with Dorman but does not register, so TPMS light is on, always (no other lights). Has Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10's on it, can't find date code but are a year old and have about 2,000 miles (full tread depth remaining). Has Hankook iPikes on stock steel rims (little scratched up), 9-10/32's tread, date code 1314. Spare tire is original and should be replaced, rim is getting rusty.

I sprayed Fluid Film once or twice a year, so there is some of that left on there. Coolant: drained and filled radiator at 91k with Toyota pink, guess that is due again. Prodigy P3 brake controller installed (but never used). Has Scanguage II installed which I can leave in for the right price. Has Cobra 75 CB installed, with a fender mount antenna (see LF fender). Can remove all if desired.

Mechanically it looks fine to me. Rust is starting to creep up underneath though, but frame looks very good. One long but shallow dent in rear of truck, no other dents, but plenty of rock chips. One starburst in windshield (sealed by Safelite). Needs clay bar? little rust specs here and there in paint. Mechanically I'd call it very good but cosmetically... only fair in this group.

kbb says $11.5k and nada looks like $14k (trade-in is 13, clean retail 16). I'll ask $13k but will be willing take more if offered. wink

crease on LR fender, down low, doesn't come out well in pics. Oh, I forgot: if you catch the light just right, you can find some blemishes in the paint, like a repaint. metal is flat so I have no idea what happened. Can't notice from more than 5 feet though.

Some Iron-X will take care of the little rust specs. I just ordered some a few days ago on autogeek with free shipping over the holiday. Actually bought this stuff. Then afterwards a clay bar, then polish or straight to sealant.

Not a bad idea, will look into.

Just the lower half of the vehicle needs it. I have to do the silver Matrix and the white Camry annually. Since it seems to show on the lighter colors the most. Spray, let dwell for 5-10 minutes, keep wet, rinse.

Doesn't the 4.6 have a timing belt?

4.7L did, 4.6 does not. 4.6 is same engine family as the 5.7--smaller stroke, and I think a lower deck height, but otherwise very similar. IIRC the 4.6 has a similar torque curve to the 4.7 but extended it out in rpm, ultimately making more hp at higher rpm. 310hp and 327tq.

No TB required on this!

Nice trucks, the drain plug for the front diff is tough to get off. Whack it with a brass drift & hammer a few times. Use a good tight fitting 10mm hex (Hazet, Snap-On) & the plug will comes off

I stripped it out pretty good. Forget if I whacked it or not, but I wound up giving up on it, had an alternate solution that worked good enough.
