Hi folks, New UOA on my watercooled 911 997 Porsche year 2005

Valvoline Synpower 5W-40: 6600 miles and 5 months of winter storage without starting the engine at all

Oil filter: Royal Purple 10-2835 and LN engineering spin-on filter adapter

Heavy track use

Total miles on the engine: 89000 miles

I have erased previous results, so it will not lead to confusion.

Sample date 2/7 2018

Looks good to me, only 10ppm iron in 6600 miles including heavy track use. Excellent work !

That SynPower looks strong too with 1000 ppm zinc, and 2500 ppm Calcium for a retained TBN of 8.3 (if I'm reading it correctly).

It will be a Euro A3/B4 oil that carries Porsche A40. We can get it in Australia, I see it around in the shops here.
