Put it back in after checking it today, thoughts? How much longer you think I can take it?

Your filter change interval likely is 25K or 30K. I like 25K if not for real dusty conditions.

For what it cost, I change mine. But that is just me. It might look good but when I tap mine lightly on the top of our black trash can, you should see the fine dust that falls out.

I'd never pull a filter with the intention of reinstalling it.

You've got a valid point there roofless. I guess some cabin filters can be a bit of a pain. My vehicle takes less than 10 minutes though.

Some people are confusing engine air filters with cabin air filters again.

2011 Toyota Prius now at 96K
1981 Mazda GLC (323) retired at 606K
1972 Subaru DL retired at 190K
1954 Chevrolet retired at 121K

Who's getting what mixed up ? First image is a cabin filter and the second is an air filter.

Really? Sounds like you are criticizing others while not actually reading the posts in this thread.

First post shows a pic of a cabin air filter.

Second post by the same person shows a pic of an engine air filter.

The OP is obviously looking for two answers - one for his cabin air filter and one for his engine air filter.

Luckily for the OP, the answer to both questions is the same: Now that you have gone to the trouble of taking them both out, replace them with new filters and have a nice life!
