I'm going to be cutting some thin copper and aluminum on a cnc machine. Can someone recommend some bits? Most of what I find is for wood.

Thanks.

Carbide tipped bits should work OK, I have used cheap ones with Aluminium and had no problems.

We use solid carbide single flute upcut bits made by vortex tool company in schofield, WI. We use the 5600 series bits for aluminum and the 5800 series bits for aerospace grade (harder) aluminum. Give them a call at 1=715-355-7353 or 1-800-355-7708. The can also get you the starting rpm/feedrate to get the best cut and correct chipload.
