Amazon is having a ton of deals going in July and it really helps to have an prime account. Here is the link for the 30 day free trial https://amzn.to/2tTRclf Prime day is July 16-17 so if you can sign up now you can have access to the offers. Just wanted to help everyone hopefully score some deals on prime day!

I have had prime for so long I forget what they charge me for it.
Remember Walmart had the same as Prime for $50 a year. Then they dumped in in favor of the over $35 order

Prime is such a good service just because of the free two day shipping on tons of items. Now add all of the movies, and other perks of prime I can see why people have been subscribed for so long.

Just checked all of the deals. Didnít see any that were particularly good (for the things Iíd be interested in).

I didnít see many decent deals last Prime Day, either. I waited until Black Friday to scoop up some Exhos and smart home stuff at good prices.

I use camelcamelcamel (CCC) to check the price history of products, and MOST of Amazonís sales arenít really very good deals.

With that said, I just scored a 70 pt/day Frigidaire dehumidifier for the lowest price Iíve ever seen, $199. CCC sent me an email, stating it was $15 under my desired price, so I clicked the link and bought it immediately. The price went back up to normal soon after.

Setting up price watches based on historical pricing for things I need or want (or just would like to have at a good price) prevents spending too much AND impulse buys at just OK prices on ďsaleĒ items.

Prime Day really helps Amazon's quarterly earnings with a boost in sales. Hopefully it was better than expected.

The second gen Echos, as well as the latest FireTV and FireTV stick have been out since last year, with no new gen expected this year, AFAIK. That might mean some decent bundles and discounts.

It doesnít appear that the latest FireTV cube is reviewing all too well, so Amazon might discountit heavily to increase the adoption rate. Unless itís discounted heavily AND offers a FireTV stick trade-Iím, Iím not interested. Iíd pay $30-40 with a stick trade-in, but no more. I wouldnít trade our main FireTV 4K, though, just the backup stick.

Last year, we bought three Dots for $35 each, bundled with three TP-Link WiFi smart plugs. We use the smart plugs to turn on our Window AC unit on hot days, before we get home. The living room doesnít cool down much, but dehumidifies a bit. The bedroom is usually comfortable by the time we get home.
