Had to get a new battery for the taurus this weekend. It takes a 36R. Out of conveince and cost, I went with the Roadrunner supreme from Mills. Has a better warranty than AZ, AAP and OR because they only have 2 years free replacement and no pro-rated warranty. This one has 2 year free replacement and 72 month pro-rated warranty.

Does anyone know who makes these? Doesn't have the angled covers like most Johnson Control batteries. Is it deka, exide or ???

TIA

After looking and comparing, it looks like a relabeled Deka/east penn but can't confirm.

I don’t know either, but I’ve been using RoadRunner batteries for years without issue. Actually just bought a 6v Group 1 RoadRunner for our Ford 9N tractor. This is an accurate photo of what I got (not a generic battery photo).

Strange but true Eddie... The East Penn group 36r has caps just like the one in that link. One of the few batteries made by EP that has that look.
