Replaced my Jeep’s passenger side front window regulator this morning with a Mopar (Bosch) unit. 2 of the 4 holes on the frame that bolt to the door weren’t even tapped. I can’t imagine how bad that thing would have rattled... would have driven me insane for sure.

Thankfully I had the correct tap on hand as well as a few mismatched bolts from my random jar.

After I figured out what was going on, 45 mins or so.

I did one in an F-150 a few years ago, picked up an aftermarket from Autozone. Went in easy enough, hit the down button and nothing but a hum. Hit the up button and it went down! Luckily the leads just clipped into the connector and I was able to easily reverse them. Glad I didn't put the panel back on!
