Who makes Briggs & Stratton oil?

Just curious if anyone knows who makes the B&S motor oils? Usually find them at Home Depot or the like in smaller containers 1 or 2 qt. They have both conventional and synthetic. I saw one synthetic that said 15W50 which might point to Mobil 1 but not sure.

Getting close to oil change time for my 22 HP B&S Professional on my Snapper. Probably will just use what I have but got curious when reading manual as to who makes the B&S as I am pretty sure they are not making their own.

The short answer is, who ever gets the contract. I'm sure this changes over the years and there may even be several blenders at the same time for different regions.

Not Briggs. They have used the same oil company for as long as I can remember. Maybe even 10-15 years or longer.
