7 months of service in temperatures ranging from around -15*F to 95*F with Mobil 1 0w40. A little wavier than I'd prefer, but serviceable nonetheless. Bought it for "free" with an AAP special and simply wanted to try this brand/ model out. Replaced it with more Mobil 1 0w40 and my beloved Mahle OX149D.

The Saab filter was $4.29 plus at PepBoz , The Volvo $13 plus ! ! (Purolators) Now, I shall check out the Mahle 149 . . . I am a cheap miser !!

You, dlundblad, and I have the same automobile(almost), use the same oil (Mobil 1, 0-40) and the same filter (Mahle 149) ..quite something ..WallMart, Rock Auto
