Off a friends 2016 Ram 2500 truck. Had Valvoline premium blue 10w30 for 9,xxx miles.

Put more Valvokine Premium Blue 10w30 as he got it at Rural King for $14.99 gallon

Filter seems to have held up well. Thanks for the C&P

Yeah, diesel engines turn oil black within 5 minutes of running. You are welcome sir

I'd like to see more and tighter pleat spacing on a premium filter.

Thanks for the C&P.

Dome end spring looks like a rear suspension coil spring out of a Yugo.

So much real estate and filter for the cost. Nice looking filter. If I could dream to own a 2016 of that kind of vehicle, I would spend the $300 or whatever on a Frantz bypass setup "ultra" fast.

You folks are welcome. He bought a few tough guards at Rural King as said they were cheaper than wal mart. Thats what went on filter wise

Oil looks almost like mud

Interesting choice of oil weight with that 10W-30. RAM/CUMMINS only recommends a 5W-40 or 15W-40 grade.
